In 2026, the Aberdeen Health Foundation will mark 40 years of supporting health and wellness in Pictou County, and we’d love to hear how that support may have touched your life.

As part of our celebration, we’re collecting stories and moments from people in the community whose lives have been positively impacted by Foundation-funded programs, services, or hospital care. Whether it’s something small that made a difference or a lasting memory of care received, we want to hear from you.

We also welcome submissions from hospital staff and health care providers whose work has been supported or made easier thanks to Foundation investments. If the Foundation has helped you provide better care or enhanced your workplace in some way, we’d love to include your perspective too.

Stories of all lengths are welcome. Every experience helps highlight the impact of local health care and community support.

Selected stories may be shared in whole or in part on our social media channels, website, and publications as part of the 40th anniversary campaign.

As a thank you, everyone who submits a story will be entered into a draw to win one of four (4) local restaurant gift certificates, valued at $100 each!
