Home 5 News 5 Growing Pink Pumpkins for Cancer Patient Support

The pumpkin patch at McLean’s farm began as a way for their son to raise money for university. It has continued as a tradition the McLean family now uses to support local charities. They reached out to a friend, a retired nurse, who told them about the Aberdeen Health Foundation’s Oncology Client Fund, which helps cancer patients in Pictou County who have to travel for treatment with their travel costs.
