Kevin MacKay of Medical Hall Pharmasave made a gift to enhance health care in Pictou County with a $10,000 gift to the Aberdeen Health Foundation.
“We have been in business since 1898 and have long history here, and a great partnership with our community’s health care providers. We want to continue to give back to our community, and have decided to make a gift in memory of my father, Mr. John J. MacKay.”
 

On hand to receive the donation were Susan Green, Chair and Susan Malcolm (center), Executive Director of the Aberdeen Health Foundation.
Susan Green noted, “This gift will be used to help with the Cardiac Rehab program at the Aberdeen Hospital, as well as provide resources for medical equipment that will ensure our community provides the care that is needed in Pictou County.”
“It is a wonderful gift and we are thrilled that Mr. MacKay wanted to honour his father with a gift that will help so many,” said Susan Malcolm. “Our community continues to inspire me with their dedication to making Pictou County better.”
