New Incubator on Miracle Day

Miracle Day is the first Wednesday in December – that’s the day CIBC Wood Gundy Investment Advisors and CIBC’s wholesale banking arm donate their fees and commissions in support of children’s charities.
This year, Howard Anderson and Dave Whittemore of CIBC Wood Gundy presented Debbie MacDonald, Nurse Manage of Women & Children’s Unit with $4,000 from the CIBC Children’s Foundation towards an incubator for the Aberdeen Hospital.

“We are very pleased to be able to share the wealth within our community,” says Mr. Anderson.  “And that these dollars will go directly to the Pediatric Department of the Aberdeen Hospital.”
Speaking on behalf of the Aberdeen Health Foundation, Executive Director Susan Malcolm says, “The incubator provides our community with specialized lifesaving equipment for newborn babies, donations like this directly support our physicians and staff in their vital work.”
