Making Birthday Wishes for Others

Though two years apart in age, Brooke and Ethan Howes share a birthday. This year, instead of presents they asked their friends for donations to the Aberdeen Hospital’s palliative care unit, where they had spent time the previous year visiting their most beloved Aunt Fay. In one selfless act, the two turned their birthday into a way of honouring their aunt and giving back to the unit, which was a blessing at the most difficult of times for their family.
