Sophia Brooks MacDonald is quite a young athlete and someone always ready to take on a challenge. During the early stages of the pandemic she often watched the news with her parents and heard stories of the hard work and dedication of front line hospital staff. Aware of the shortage of PPE available to these workers she was inspired to help. Sophia heard of others raising money through Trampoline Challenges and decided that was a perfect fit for her. Her parents helped raise pledges, and Sophia took to her trampoline for 12 hours and raised over one hundred dollars. The Aberdeen Health Foundation was incredibly grateful to receive her donation and for her generous action in support of health care workers.
