Clara Hughes comes to Pictou County

Through the Sandbar Mental Health Endowment, we were pleased to partner to bring Clara’s Big Bike Ride to Pictou County.
Olympian Clara Hughes is riding across the country to talk about her own experience with mental illness, raise awareness, and challenge the stigma of mental illness head on.
Thank you to everyone who attended the event. It was such a moving evening.
Thank you also to everyone  who supported the silent auction – sponsors and bidders alike. The funds raised are for local programs and supports.
