Helping Big Brothers Make Matches

The Aberdeen Health Foundation’s CAS Endowment is helping Big Brothers Big Sisters of Pictou County make matches in our community. Pictured are Little Sister Emily MacDonald and Big Sister Renee Campbell, who were recently matched. Emily has been active in other Big Brothers Big Sisters programs the past five years while waiting for a Big Sister. Renee was inspired to help children, in part by her dad who was a Big Brother.
The funding for its “Power of an Hour” campaign has helped Big Brothers Big Sisters to significantly reduce its waiting list.
