Crop Out Cancer
On Saturday May 16 over 42 people gathered for a day of fun, fellowship, and learning, all while raising over $2,600 to support the Aberdeen Health Foundation for the Oncology Unit – Client Fund.
Annie Corbin and Elaine MacKenzie have spent countless hours preparing for this fun-filled day, which included lessons in scrap booking and card making along with silent auctions and draws for door prizes.
The funds were raised in memory of Annie’s sister-in-law Linda Corbin and Fleur Mainville and will support families during a very stressful time.
Susan Malcolm of the AHF said “the support in our community is amazing and these gals had a great day getting together, all while raising funds for the Oncology Unit, we truly appreciate their support.”
