Board Member Profile – Ashley Harrison

Ashley’s skillset is very much aligned with what the Foundation aims to accomplish over the next five years. Ashley in particular hopes to leverage her skills in analytics to support patient-centric health care and access in our region, providing even more targeted investments in preventative initiatives.
When asked why she chose to join the Board of Directors, Ashley says. “The Foundation has a very meaningful impact on the community and the health and wellbeing of the people who live here. It’s hard not to be motivated and have a strong sense of purpose tied to the work we do!”
That connection to the Aberdeen is personal one for Ashley. She, like so many in the community, has a young son who was born at the Aberdeen Hospital. “The Foundation takes a holistic view of health care. We support traditional health care needs, as well as taking a progressive population health approach to the work we do.”
“I love the connectedness of our community. Everyone wants to help each other, and I am hopeful that we can leverage that connectedness to improve health care access in the community – particularly in the area of mental health.”
